What to Expect
A Root-Cause,
Whole-Body Approach
We will focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of hormone imbalance, fertility challenges, and cycle irregularities rather than managing symptoms alone. Using an evidence-based, holistic approach, we will uncover hidden burdens and support the body’s natural ability to restore balance. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan, but a thoughtful program designed to support your unique needs.
Faith in Practice
I believe that God is the Great Physician and we should turn to and trust in Him first above all else. He is our ultimate comfort, strength, and hope, especially in times such as trying to conceive. I also believe that God designed our bodies with the ability to heal. While pregnancy may not be God’s plan for everyone, we can still seek to be good stewards of the body we’ve been gifted with. As we work together, I hope you will be encouraged to deepen your relationship with God and trust in His design.
Frequently asked questions
Who do you work with?
I work with women who are ready to understand why their body isn’t doing what they expect it to do—and who want a thoughtful, whole-body approach to fertility and hormone health.
This often includes women who:
Are trying to conceive and feeling stuck, frustrated, or out of options—whether they’ve been trying for months or years
Have experienced infertility or recurrent pregnancy loss and want clearer answers and next steps
Struggle with irregular cycles, painful or heavy periods, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, or signs of hormone imbalance
Want to be proactive about preconception health, even if pregnancy isn’t an immediate goal
For couples actively TTC, I sometimes recommend a temporary pause to allow the body time to build a stronger foundation. We will always respect your goals and timeline when creating a plan together.

Is nutritional therapy really powerful enough to make a difference?
Nutritional therapy is evidence-based and can be incredibly impactful, particularly for hormone balance and fertility. Many clients are navigating nutrient depletion, chronic stress, environmental exposures, and metabolic imbalances that significantly affect reproductive health. Addressing these foundational factors can create meaningful improvements, especially when the body has been under-supported for an extended period of time.
What if I’ve already tried everything?
This is a very common place to be, and I understand how discouraging it can feel. The Nourished Cycle offers a different lens—one that looks for subtle imbalances, overlooked deficiencies, and chronic stressors that may be impacting the body. Using a whole-body, root-cause approach and functional markers that often aren’t explored in conventional care, there is almost always more information to uncover and additional support we can provide.

What if I’m actively TTC with the help of conventional fertility treatments?
We can absolutely still work together! While my ultimate goal is for you to get pregnant naturally, nutritional therapy is a great compliment to conventional medicine and can improve your chances of conception with methods like IUI or IVF. Together, we’ll focus on foundations that support egg quality, ovulation, and a healthy uterus for pregnancy. All recommendations are designed to work alongside your medical care and can be adjusted based on your treatment plan and provider guidance.
Will you tell me exactly what to eat and do?
Food plays a significant role in hormone balance and fertility outcomes, and I take that seriously. While I don’t provide rigid meal plans, I am clear and intentional about nutrition. We focus on foundational principles, supportive foods, and clear priorities—including foods to emphasize and foods to avoid—based on your unique needs. Guidance may include food lists, swaps, macro adjustments, sourcing recommendations, and occasional recipes, with changes introduced thoughtfully over time. In some cases, more structured or therapeutic approaches (such as anti-inflammatory or autoimmune-style diets) are necessary to create meaningful change, and we will walk through that together in a way that feels supported and purposeful.
Do you offer lab testing?
I utilize functional blood panels in my practice, all offered at cost and available at most local testing laboratories. I can also review any recent labwork you have done with other providers. I use a functional lens when reviewing labs, looking for imbalances and patterns associated with barriers to optimal reproductive health. Lab testing can help us uncover areas that need prioritized and bring clarity to your healing journey.
How do you work with clients?
I work primarily virtually, but I am based in Fayetteville, AR, and am happy to meet local clients in-person throughout the NWA area. I love getting to meet face-to-face!
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. However, some clients may be able to HSA or FSA funds depending on their provider and plan. I recommend checking directly with your HSA/FSA administrator.
Do I have to take supplements?
I take a food-first approach whenever possible; however, targeted supplements can be a powerful and efficient way to restore balance when needed. I typically recommend high-quality foundational supplements, with additional supplements for more complex cases or detoxification protocols, always prioritizing your unique needs, priorities, and budget. I only suggest the highest quality brands (often those only available to practitioners), and you will receive a 20% discount on supplements ordered through me. Supplements are never required, but expectations need to be adjusted accordingly – rebalancing the body takes time. We will always discuss your preferences and budget together before moving forward.
What training and credentials do you have?
I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), certified through the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA), with additional training in functional blood chemistry. I also hold a PhD in biomedical engineering, which strengthens my ability to evaluate and apply scientific research. I’ve co-authored two peer-reviewed journal articles in the women’s health space and bring a balanced approach that bridges holistic nutrition with science-backed reasoning.
